Jared, our Executive Director, was able to join Bishop Andudu and a few others in February on a trip to visit our partners on the ground. Here is a summary of what was accomplished on our trip:
| Goals accomplished on Jared’s February visit to the Nuba Mountains: – In person familiarity with projects we support – Establish Jared’s new role as Executive Director with our partners – Gather first-hand experience and knowledge of the culture and people of the Nuba Mountains – Brainstorming with partners for future strategic planning – Facilitate meetings and collaboration with other partners joining on this trip Relay Trust UK – John Inglis-Jones, new manager of Sudan partnerships AFRECS – Dane Smith, Executive Director and retired ambassador Hope Light 4 Sudan – Fr. Jim Tomkins (also honorary Canon in the Diocese of Kadugli) All together, It was an incredible opportunity for Jared to visit with our partners and familiarize himself more closely with the work we are supporting.
