Enabling Christ-Centered Conflict Resolution

Backstory

60 years of war and harsh Sharia Law have traumatized the Nuba people have created a culture where violence is the default way to address conflict. Local leaders need training to learn how to pursue peace and reconciliation in ways that restore relationships and build trust.  Jesus, the Prince of Peace, provides a compelling example and practical wisdom for doing this. Leaders across Muslim, Tribal, and Christian communities can come together to learn and apply Jesus’ approach to the problems facing their people.

Using his Masters Degree training in Peace and Reconciliation from Eastern Mennonite University, Bishop Andudu has developed a series of week-long peace-building workshops in which participants tackle the most challenging problems in their communities and apply Jesus’ life and example to address those problems.   Through these workshops, community, government, and military leaders learn how to engage the problems in their communities to promote respect and well-being of all people.
